Just a reminder that the NHCTO Council will be meeting tomorrow April 13th from 10 am to 3 PM. (Meetings will resume in May and June at our permanent location at Granite State College in Concord. 25 Hall St, Concord, NH 03301.) Directions for the Tilton School: 30 School St, Tilton, NH 03276 We will be meeting at the Library. Campus Map to Parking and Library We will have a detailed update on HB1612 and the positive work the NHCTO council has been doing to amend the bill as well as a discussion around data security plans and how to begin collaborative work around data and privacy in our districts. Those who attended the CoSN national conference will also be sharing their learning with the group on a variety of topics. There will also be a discussion around Technology Director certification Following lunch, we will have an open forum so bring your topics, questions & success stories to share and discuss. For those that aren’t familiar with the CTO Council we are the New Hampshire CoSN affiliate. The focus of our group is around technology leadership and the many things associated with it like student data privacy, 21st century networking, digital workflows, online and mobile learning, and strategic IT planning. In the morning we will have discussions with our sub committees: communications, legislative and clinic planning. In anticipation of the COSN National Conference we will also have a discussion surrounding the 4th Industrial Revolution. Following lunch, we will have an open forum so bring your topics, questions & success stories to share and discuss. Our next NHCTO meeting is this Friday at a new location. The meeting will run from 10:00-3:00. (Delayed by one hour this month only but room does open at 9 for any early birds.) Josh Mulloy will also give us a summary of the EdTech Advocacy and Policy Summit which he attended in Washington DC.
