Good evening,
 
We will be having our NHCTO Council meeting Thursday (4/13/17) at the Concord PSU campus (2 Pillsbury St. Concord) from 9am to 3pm.  I am not sure which room we are in so look for signs.  If you can’t find the room send an email.
 
In the morning we will have a presentation from Holly Doe who recently attended the CoSN national conference and has lots of exciting info to share from that trip!
 
We will also have a discussion about Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business continuity planning.
 
ENA will be sponsoring lunch and presenting TrustCompute – virtual data center services designed specifically for K12 Schools. We will be having our NHSTE CTO Council meeting Thursday (3/9/17) at the Concord PSU campus (2 Pillsbury St. Concord) from 9am to 3pm.  I am not sure which room we are in so look for signs.  If you can’t find the room send an email.
 
In the morning we will have breakout discussions with our sub committees: communications, data collection and legislative actions.
 
We will also have a discussion around personal (technology staffing, job titles / responsibilities and compensation).

In the morning we will be working on planning our upcoming CTO Conference & other events as well as reviewing some new features in Office 365 and Google apps.

We will be having our NHSTE CTO Council meeting Thursday (12/8/16) at the Concord PSU campus (2 Pillsbury St. Concord) from 9am to 3pm. I am not sure which room we are in so look for signs. If you can’t find the room send an email.

In the morning we will have a discussion around E-Rate with Dan Riordan, President of On-Tech Consulting, Inc. You may be familiar with Dan as he is a frequent contributor to the NHSTE Tech Coord list serve and a consultant who provides assistance securing E-Rate funding. E-Rate has and continues to evolve significantly and we will discuss projects being done with E-Rate services, how schools are managing E-Rate, etc. etc.

No lunch will be provided this month, but there is a café onsite that makes great sandwiches & paninis.

We will be having our NHCTO Council meeting Thursday (11/10/16) at the Concord PSU campus (2 Pillsbury St. Concord) from 9am to 3pm. To avoid conflicts with the NH PowerSchool users group and Google Users group we have moved our meetings to the second Thursday of each month this year. I am not sure which room we are in so look for signs. If you can't find the room send an email.

In the morning we will have breakout committee discussions revolving around legislature, data and communications. We will also have a whole group discussion around ransomware & how different schools are preventing and dealing with the issue.

Barracuda Networks will be sponsoring lunch, https://www.barracuda.com/. Barracuda provides some great tools for preventing and dealing with ransomware including mail filtering & archiving, firewalls & content filtering and cloud based backups.
